Blogging, is it for me?
I have found it really hard to stay motivated to blogging. With facebook and twitter being so easy to update and interact with my friends I never seem to make it to my blog. I think part of the problem is I can’t find a theme I like and just don’t have the time or skill to make my own from scratch. I do have some great articles to add up which I should do if anything just to make them easier to go back to when I need them (my bookmarks are out of control).
In other news I’m in the process of deciding what I am going to do with myself next year. I am really looking to live/travel overseas for awhile as I’m still young enough to get away with backpacking. Money is a problem with a loan on my beloved ute but I know it can be sorted out. My work life is well boring, the challenges are gone and feel I am grossly underpaid but as they gave me my start I don’t want to bail on them while the business is struggling.
So all this leaves me looking at a part time weekend job to increase the cash flow while I wait out the rest of the year. May also look at a basic bar course and a personal trainer course as other forms of work for the short term and also would come in handy while traveling around.
Life is what we make it and I am determined to enjoy mine after spending so many years lost.

Consider that most of your readers probably access your blog via RSS and as such rarely get your blog theme at all. You should be able to track that via the logs though. I find that nearly all of my regular readers come via RSS.
I find the hardest part about blog(as opposed to facebook) is that I actually have to write something independent and coherent. I also find that I can’t casually mention something without looking it up or being able to prove it. Which sometimes helps me get it straight in my head.
I guess you have to really want to write more(article style) as opposed to just convey what your thoughts to your friends.
The hardest part at all though is just doing it. Proof reading is never fun
Yes perhaps if I had more to say it wouldn’t be so hard at all. I tend to read most things through RSS so that’s a fairly good point.
I may use it as a store for all those things I forget and need over and over again like a knowledge base so to speak because searching my bookmarks is just beyond a joke of late.
